Food & Dining

Yum Cha, Dumplings, Curries, Roti, Noodles, Nasi Goreng, Ramen, Pho, Pancakes, Sushi, Custard Tarts, Cakes, Ice cream, Bubble Tea …

Box Hill is fast becoming the Asian food capital of Melbourne with plenty of local restaurants and cafes to choose from, specialising in traditional and modern Chinese (from various regions), Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Malaysian, Korean and Japanese cuisine.

In the lead up to the Chinese New Year Festival (around late January) and the Moon Festival (around late September) there is even more food to sample, including special festive dishes and a variety of special moon cakes.

If you’re still looking for something else, Box Hill has it all.

Fresh coffee and cakes, specialty vegetarian food, focaccias, burgers, fries, wraps, sandwiches, subs and more …

The Age Good Food describes Box Hill as ‘drool worthy’ and ‘… the new Chinatown!’ Visit the link below for the full foodies guide to Box Hill.
